Spring is in the air. The dark and gloomy winter months are making way for warm weather and blooming flowers, and RC members have recently discovered a love of peonies. Not just any peonies though, the Tan and Cream Peony Stems available exclusively at Michael’s are what resellers have been hunting. These artificial flowers have been in high demand and are selling for about double retail on eBay.

Michael’s has become a favorite among home decor enthusiasts. Aside from arts and crafts, their selection of seasonal household items have grown in popularity to compete with titans like Home Goods for the hard earned cash of bored housewives.

Earlier this year, 2 distinct colors of Peony Stems by Ashland were released and quickly went viral on TikTok. There is a wide selection of artificial flowers by Ashland available for purchase on Michael’s website, but the Tan Peony Stem and Cream Peony Stem are the ones that keep selling out, and housewives are not happy.

This is certainly not a typical product category for resellers, but profit is profit, and that’s all we care about.

These artificial flowers retail for just $7. They’re made of polyester, plastic, and iron wire but look surprisingly realistic. While the tan peonies seem to be selling better than the cream, both show strong margins and should be on the radar.
