The Dodgers usually hand out bobbleheads by the tens of thousands, enough to fill most of Dodger Stadium. Habit Burger & Grill went the other direction. Their new Alex Vesia bobblehead was just revealed, and only 100 will be made, and you can’t buy one. You either win one online or beat the rest of Los Angeles to a single burger counter in Echo Park. Getting one will take a lot of luck or a very early spot in line, but the Dodgers bobblehead market has rewarded both before.

Alex Vesia X Habit Bobblehead Giveaway Details

The bobblehead celebrates Vesia’s run as the second resident of Habit & Co., the chain’s rotating menu collab series, following chef Jet Tila. His Double Play Menu launched September 16 at participating locations nationwide and runs through November 10.

The star item is the Double Play Char, a double-patty burger with American and White American cheese, avocado, BBQ Sauce, and a new Strikeout Sauce. That’s the burger Vesia is holding on the figure.

Habit isn’t hiding how small this run is. Its brand marketing director summed it up in five words: “We made 100. That’s it.” There are two ways to get one, and neither involves a checkout page.

The first is an Instagram giveaway on @habitburgerandgrill running October 4 through October 9 at 11:59 p.m. PT. These are the signed units, autographed by Vesia himself. Habit hasn’t posted entry rules yet, so watch its account when the giveaway opens.

The second is in person. On Tuesday, October 13 at 5 p.m., the Dodgers x Habit Home Base at 2134 W. Sunset Blvd. in Echo Park will give an unsigned bobblehead to the first 70 people who order anything off the Double Play Menu. One fan that night also walks away with a pair of tickets to Game 3 of the NLCS.

Limited Edition Dodgers Bobbleheads Resell

The Dodgers have a strong track record on eBay when it comes to bobbleheads. Shohei Ohtani’s first Dodgers bobblehead in 2024 had a 40,000 unit run, and standard copies flipped for $300 or more while the 1,700 gray jersey variants topped $1,000. Earlier this year, the Yoshi x Yamamoto bobblehead hit $250 to $350 off another 40,000 unit giveaway.

Dodgers Shohei Ohtani Bobblehead for Sale

Vesia doesn’t carry Ohtani or Yamamoto star power, but those bobbleheads were 400 times more plentiful than this one. With only 100 produced and distributed through some very exclusive channels, we could see these reselling for a few hundred dollars easily, especially the signed versions.

Risk here is low on the money side. The bobbleheads aren’t for sale, so there’s no refund question, and your only cost is a menu item. The real risk is your time. Seventy spots in Los Angeles during playoff season will go fast, so plan to show up well before 5 p.m.
