2026 Dodgers One Piece Night Details

The LA Dodgers and Toei Animation have renewed their partnership for One Piece Night 2026, set for the Dodgers’ home game against the San Diego Padres on July 2, with first pitch at 7:10 p.m.

The confirmed elements are solid on their own. One Piece-themed activations will run throughout the stadium, with a pregame experience at Centerfield Plaza and a postgame drone show featuring characters from the series. The first 40,000 ticketed fans through the gates will receive a co-branded replica straw hat.

While these hats are cool, they’re not what every reseller and One Piece fan in the LA area is buzzing about. Last year’s One Piece Night included a surprise promo card giveaway: a special alternate art Monkey D. Luffy card in a Dodgers uniform.

It was kept secret until shortly before the game, and it turned out to be one of the most valuable sports crossover promos in recent memory. Shortly after the game, the cards spiked to around $400 on eBay. Within months, graded examples began trading for upwards of $1,500.

These sales, and the success of this year’s One Piece college basketball tour are the reason resellers and collectors are so excited by the announcement that One Piece Night would be returning to Dodger Stadium

Is There a One Piece Dodgers Promo Card Giveaway in 2026?

To be clear, the Dodgers have not confirmed a second One Piece Dodgers promo card giveaway. That said, there’s reason to be hopeful. Last year’s card was not revealed until two weeks before the game. If the Dodgers keep to the same plan, expect the cards to be revealed on or around June 18.

You may have seen some images of 2026 One Piece Dodgers promo cards floating around online. These are fake. Impressive, but fake.

All we can do now is wait. If the Dodgers are planning to release new cards (and we think the odds are pretty good), they likely won’t be officially confirmed for several weeks. That hasn’t stopped the prices of tickets from going through the roof though.

Bottom Line

If you are already planning to be in LA this summer and want to catch a Dodgers game, this is the obvious choice. The themed event and straw hat giveaway make it the most interesting game on the schedule, and a potential promo card is a serious upside scenario you cannot access from any other game.

If you are considering buying tickets specifically to flip a promo card, you need to be equally comfortable with the scenario where no card gets distributed.

Tickets are currently starting at $272 through the Dodgers’ official site, which is steep for a regular season baseball game. At that entry price, a straw hat is not going to cover your costs. You need a promo card, and that promo card is not confirmed.

That said, this game will almost certainly sell out, and likely soon. If a card giveaway is announced before July 2, tickets will get harder to find and more expensive fast. LA-area resellers who are comfortable with the risk should consider getting in now rather than scrambling later.
