The Chewbacca comic bundle retails for $34.99 and is limited to 5,500 units
The set includes a Chewbacca action figure, a Marvel Galaxy’s Edge #1 comic with variant cover, and a collectible coin
Purchases are capped at two per customer and the set is available online at shopDisney and at Galaxy’s Edge in both Disney parks
Disney dropped a limited-edition Chewbacca collectible bundle today in honor of Revenge of the Fifth, and it’s the kind of set that has “buy and hold” written all over it. At under $35 for three pieces of Star Wars merchandise in collector’s packaging, the barrier to entry is low. The real story is the edition size: 5,500 units is genuinely small for a Disney release at this price point, and this is the first in a series of five different sets, which adds completionist pressure to the demand side.
The Chewbacca Action Figure, Comic Book and Coin Set is part of Disney’s Star Wars Day 2026 collection, tied to the Galaxy’s Edge theme park experience at Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The bundle includes a fully sculpted 3-inch Chewbacca action figure with five points of articulation, a full-size copy of Marvel’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge #1 with an exclusive Chewbacca variant cover, and a bas-relief collector’s coin featuring Chewbacca’s image alongside Aurebesh text. Everything comes sealed in clear blister packaging. It’s a clean presentation for a shelf piece.
This is the first of five sets in the series, with Hondo Ohnaka, DJ R-3X, and a First Order Stormtrooper confirmed among the others. That’s worth keeping in mind. Collectors who want the full run will need all five, and that kind of structure tends to sustain secondary market interest across the whole lineup.
This one just dropped, so there aren’t sold comps to reference yet. Early listings will set the tone over the next few days. For context, similar Disney Parks limited-edition collectible sets with edition sizes under 10,000 have generally settled in the $60-90 range on the secondary market in the weeks following release. Whether this Chewbacca set lands there depends on how fast the 5,500 units move and whether the series format drives collector demand the way it usually does.
The short-term flip potential is modest. After eBay’s 13% fees and shipping, you’re looking at slim margins unless secondary prices push well above $70. The more compelling case is holding. Star Wars collectibles tied to park-exclusive releases have a track record of appreciating over 12 to 24 months, particularly when the edition size is this tight.
You can grab up to two units per guest on shopDisney or in person at Galaxy’s Edge.
Disney Store collectibles are typically final sale, and this listing does not indicate any return window. If you pick this up to flip and the secondary market doesn’t move, you’re holding the bag. The 5,500 edition size is small, but it’s not so small that prices are guaranteed to spike. Don’t overextend. One or two units is a reasonable position; stacking cases on a speculative Star Wars figure is not.
