2024 Sephora Advent Calendars are Already Reselling

Resell Calendar welcomes back the Sephora Advent Calendar (no relation) right in time for gift giving season. For those unfamiliar, beauty advent calendars are basically a collection of beauty and wellness products sold together. There are packages that focus on skin care, makeup, fragrances, etc., as well as combinations of them all.

This set includes 27 mini and full size products and is advertised as a $366 value at the price of $99. While that might be a bit of a stretch, it makes for a good gift. Just like a real advent calendar, you can open up a new box every day leading up to Christmas.

While Sephora has been producing their Makeup Advent Calendars for a few years now, they really came onto resellers’ radars in 2023. Those started at $50 and regularly resold in the range of $100 to $150.

Resellers aren’t exactly known for their makeup skills, so this flip went mostly unnoticed. The upside is that they were actually very easy to buy, with resellers able to check out with fully loaded carts online and in stores.

Now they’re back, and resellers are too. Here are some important details if you’re thinking of going after this:

The biggest change this year is the removal of online sales. Whether it’s an intentional strike back against resellers or just trying to get people back in stores, we don’t know; but if you want one of these kits you’ll need to go in person.

Additionally, Sephora has produced several different 2024 Advent Makeup Calendars. They differ in price in content, and not all of them are worth reselling.

If you’re only interested in profit, you should be focusing on the Sephora “Best-of-Beauty” Advent Calendars. These have a distinct green box, and feature 25 days of makeup gifts. Other calendars only include 12 or 24, and are much less popular.

Sure, it might still be fall, but it’s still a great time to get ahead of holiday shopping. Smart shoppers buy now, and the lazy ones get burned later.

Right now, Sephora 2024 Advent Calendars are reselling for $150 on average. Prices are all over right now, and the market seems pretty saturated at the moment. Sephora is definitely aware of the demand, and likely scaled their supply to compensate.

Still, $50 in profit is always nice. Make sure you come up with a good story to explain to your cashier why you’re buying 10 different makeup kits. Just tell them you’re polyamorous, and you’ll be fine.

But the fun is definitely not over yet. There’s still plenty of time left until Christmas, and right now Halloween is the topic on everyone’s mind. The market for these Makeup Advent Calendars is good, but as we creep closer to December, prices will go up.

Don’t be surprised to see these being listed for upwards of $200 as the snow begins to fall. It might be worth holding onto these, but that’s always riskier than going for the quick flip.
