Miller Lite produced 300 “Beercrackers” for the holidays
They were sold in three waves for $30
Now that they’re sold out, Beercrackers are reselling for $100+
How’s your beer belly? This is a great time of year to pick up day drinking. What else is there to do? It’s cold and dark most of the day anyway. If you want to put a festive spin on your alcoholism, Miller Lite has a very special product just for you. For the last few days, they’ve been selling a custom nutcracker with reinforced teeth, perfectly designed for cracking open cold ones. Now that all of the Beercrackers are sold out, they’ve started to resell for well over what they retailed for.
Beer is, like most things, a matter of personal taste. Some folks like a hearty stout, others prefer IPAs bitter enough to brine a pickle. Light beers trade in flavor for waistline savings, and they’re a go-to choice for many.
If you’re too macho for Bud Lite, there’s always Miller Lite. Since 1975, the dehydrated-piss colored light lager has been a favorite of dudes, bros, and dudebros across the country.
Naturally, they also sell a bunch of merchandise for the proud drinker. Sweaters, stocking stuffers, and mini neon signs.
But that’s not what we’re interested in. Today, we’re talking about the Miller Lite Beercrackers, a very special and very limited product just in time for the holidays.
What is it? Well, it’s really not too complicated. It’s just like the wooden dolls that people bust out towards Christmas, except this one is dripped out in Miller blues. His hat has the Miller Lite logo on it, and he’s carrying a Miller Lite scepter.
But this isn’t just a beer-inspired tchotchke; it’s fully functional. In the jaws of the Beercracker is a usable bottle opener. Simply clamp his teeth around a beverage of your choice, and watch him wrench it open.
The Beercracker’s hat can also be removed, and it contains another opener in case you need to duel wield brews.
Here’s the fun part. Well, fun if you’re a reseller. Or a time traveler.
As of this morning, the Miller Lite Beercrackers are permanently sold out. Only 300 of these were made, and they are all spoken for.
This is what the Beercracker site looked like on Thursday
They were sold in three waves of 100 Beercrackers each on November 29, November 30, and December 1 at 9 A.M. CST. The Miller Lite Beercracker cost $30.
But the fun isn’t over quite yet. Miller Lite is holding a sweepstakes for their remaining stock of Beercrackers, and hopes to ship them out to winners before the holidays. This is probably your last chance to secure one, so enter the sweepstakes on their site here.
Because of the limited production, each of these waves sold out extremely quick. Each time stock was loaded, it was sold out in under a minute.
Purchasing one manual was pretty damn hard, if not impossible, and it seems likely that many of them were botted. Surprised? You should know that any time a product like this produced, it’s a target for botters.
That’s because Miller Lite Beercrackers are reselling, and for quite a bit. Now that it’s out of production, people who missed out are pretty desperate for one. Miller Lite Beercrackers are selling for around $120 on average, and it’s possible that prices will rise again after the sweepstakes is over.
Christmas is coming up, and there are a lot of beer drinkers in this country. This Beercracker would make a great gift for anyone who likes Miller Lite. Even better if its their drink of choice.
It’s no surprise that these are reselling for so much, and we expect to see even more sales now that these are officially out of production.
Missed it? RC Elite members didn’t. We posted this before the first Beercrackers went live, along with a detailed explanation of why they were worth buying. Now, the members who snagged one are headed into December with a little extra beer money.
If you want to catch opportunities like this before they pass you by, maybe it’s time you joined RC Elite too.
In the meantime, you can always subscribe to our newsletter for updates on everything that the group resells. If you can’t be on the winning team, you can still cheer from the sidelines.
