Razer's New Artisan Keycap Drops August 22

Razer is taking signups now through its product page ahead of the August 22 drop. Sign up with an email to get notified the moment it goes live, since these tend to move fast once they’re live. No preorder or waitlist deposit is required, just the notification signup.

Each keycap is painstakingly cast from resin then individually handpainted to ensure the highest standards of quality and durability. This process also means that every keycap will have a degree of variability and no two will be exactly the same.

Razer has been on a heater with limited edition drops coming into 2026. The Boomslang 20th Anniversary mouse sold for $1,337 and climbed to around $2,000 on eBay within days, and the Huntsman Signature Edition keyboard has been asking $700 to $800 against a $500 retail price.

The keycap is a much smaller and cheaper item by comparison, but the hand painted, no two alike production process gives it the same kind of collector appeal that’s driven those other pieces.

At $89.99, there’s room for this to clear $200 or more if demand mirrors Razer’s past collectible runs, though that’s a projection and not a confirmed comp since the keycap hasn’t dropped yet. Razer’s own product page notes that purchases made directly through RazerStore come with 14 days of risk free returns and up to a year of warranty coverage, so buyers who strike out on a resale attempt within that window have an out.
