The four-toy Pokemoan Collection costs $399 and is limited to only 151 complete sets worldwide
Individual vibrators retail for $169 or $69 and include a matching trading card
The drop opens July 21 at 4pm PDT with only 300 of each toy being sold
Geeky Sex Toys is prepared to spoof/honor the Pokemon Company with a new collection of VERY unofficially-licensed products. You know, that company that never sues anyone for misusing their IP. We’re sure things will go well. Anyways, four toys drop tomorrow based on the original Kanto starters + Pikachu. Each one is uniquely designed to suck, buzz, and whirr their way into your heart, and they also ship with matching holographic trading cards. We can’t wait until someone sends one into PSA.
First, obligatory disclaimer: we are talking about products for adults. If you’re under 18, go play Fortnite or hit your vape or scream at your mom or something. Go away.
To the very normal and well-adjusted adults looking to buy and sell Pokemon-themed sex toys: Hello.
Geeky Sex Toy’s Pokemoan Collection bundles all four toys, Bulbypulse, Charmybuzz, Squirtyblast, and the Pikyplug, plus five holographic trading cards and a hard collector case. The Bulbypulse is a Pokemon-themed spin on the ultra-viral Rose toy you may or may not have seen, while the other two are conventional wand vibrators. The Pikyplug is, uh, exactly what it sounds like, and it gives you a tail like Pikachu when properly applied.
The bundles will run you $400. Bought individually, the three vibrators run $169 each and the Pikyplug starts at $69 depending on size. Individual toys also ship with their own promo card, but only 300 of each character card are being printed, and the bundle is the only way to land the coveted Master Bedroom holo card. Pikyplug cards are also exclusive to the bundle.
Geeky Sex Toys describes the collection as very limited and warns that it’s likely to sell out shortly after dropping. Only 151 bundles will be produced and individual toys are limited to 300 sales. Each item in the drop is limited to two per customer.
We think so. If you haven’t heard, Pokemon is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and we’ve seen tons of oddball merch reselling for a profit. Why not this as well? Throw in the trading cards and the extremely limited quantities, and you have all of the hallmarks for a successful flip.
This isn’t even the first time we’ve written about sex toys that resell for a profit. Harry Styles’ Pleasing brand launched a double-sided vibrator last year that ended up flipping for up to $400, and that release had nowhere near this kind of hard scarcity or fandom crossover.
The drop goes live tomorrow, July 21 at 4pm PDT, and Geeky’s own site is already telling shoppers the full set will sell out. With nearly 600 people signed up for drop notifications before the page even opens, plus an unknown number of lurkers who never bothered signing up, 151 sets probably won’t survive very long.
Risk here is lower than usual for this category, but it’s not zero. Adult toys are typically final sale, but Geeky’s refund policy does allow order cancellations for a full refund any time before an order ships. Since these are expected to ship roughly 10 days after the drop, that gives buyers a brief window to gauge resale demand and bail if it doesn’t show up.
If you’re going after this one, the full collection is the play. It’s the only route to the Master Bedroom card and it carries the tightest cap in the entire release. eBay doesn’t place any restrictions on selling sex toys through their platform, but this is one product that no one wants to buy… used. Keep it in the packaging!
Oh and one other thing. If you send one of these cards to PSA for grading, please tell us how that goes.
