Enter the One Piece Booster Box Drawing Before January 5

Did you know that One Piece has a trading card game? Fans of the series compete and trade cards from a variety of sets, and the TCG is notable for its rarity – unlike Pokemon or YuGiOh, buying One Piece TCG cards in stores is a serious pain. This has created a substantial market for resellers, and cards regularly flip for well over MSRP. Bandai has announced a limited edition drawing for the One Piece TCG “Royal Blood” set, and resellers are all over it. You could triple or even quadruple your money by winning one of these sets.

Depending on your anime knowledge, you might already be familiar with One Piece. Launched as a manga in 1997 by Eiicheiro Oda, it was adapted into an anime by Toei Animation in 1999 that is still running today.

There have been tons of spin-offs along the way. Fourteen movies, a live action adaptation from Netflix, numerous video games and cameo appearances.

And there’s also a One Piece TCG that launched a few years ago. The cards feature characters from the series with a variety of abilities, and is popular with One Piece fans.

The latest addition to the One Piece TCG is the OP-10 “Royal Blood” expansion. This launched in November, adding 150 new cards to the game.

It’s important to note the relative rarity of the One Piece TCG compared to other popular card games. These packs are produced in much lower numbers than you might expect, and collectors will fight over the available stock.

Here’s how it works. Enter the drawing on Bandai’s site before January 5 for a chance to buy one of these boxes. On January 9, 6,000 winners will be selected to buy. Only the first 3,000 that respond will be able to purchase a box. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Let’s get to the bottom line: these boxes are an opportunity to make some serious cash. Because of how limited the One Piece TCG is, we’ve seen huge sales for booster boxes online.

One Piece Royal Blood cards can resell for as much as $50 at a time, while sealed cases have flipped for over $500. This is a great opportunity for any reseller to get in and get some money.
