While we’ve still got a long ways to go until Halloween, it seems like some holiday decorations are already reselling. Costco’s new Nightmare Before Christmas Glitter Lanterns have quickly sold out online, and now resellers are making money by flipping them. These lightweight items are easy to ship, inexpensive, and very popular. Here’s what you need to know.

Make no mistake, now is the time to buy Halloween decorations. While everyone else is booking exotic vacations, hanging out at the pool, or getting wasted; smart resellers are out stocking up on Halloween props well ahead of the holiday.

Right now, Costco is selling a collection of Halloween Swirling Glitter Lanterns for $50. There are three variants, and the one we’re interested in is The Nightmare Before Christmas glitter lantern. These are a snowglobe-like Halloween decoration that depicts a scene from the film.

This lantern is intended for indoor display. It’s powered by three C batteries to light up and play music from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Because of their popularity, they’re completely sold out online.

But you can still find Nightmare Before Christmas Halloween lanterns in-store at your local Costco. At $50, these aren’t a difficult buy. As long as someone hasn’t beat you to the punch, you should be able to walk out with a few.

And if you do get lucky and fill up your cart, expect to make more than a few bucks in profit. While most of the other Halloween decorations we’ve been covering won’t start flipping until October, these lanterns already trading hands.

Right now, Nightmare Before Christmas lanterns from Costco are reselling for about $80 to $100 at a time. We’ve seen a decent volume of sales over the last few weeks, and things will only get better as we get closer to Halloween.

What’s really nice about these compared to other popular Halloween decorations is their size and weight. This isn’t some huge yard decoration that will rack up shipping fees. You can expect about the same time and hassle shipping these than most other products you’re already reselling.

So to recap: profitable to flip and easy to ship. And rather than waiting for months for the market to pick up, you can flip them now for easy money. If you have trouble making a sale, just hold onto them until Halloween and watch as they increase in value.
