We’ve got a weird flip for you today. Resellers were able to make some pretty ridiculous profits earlier this month off of a single flip. MGA Miniverse toys are very popular with certain collectors, and these Sriracha mini foods were extremely limited. If you were lucky enough to find one, you’d be able to walk away with more than $100 in profit. Here’s what happened.

MGA Mini Food Sriracha

Have you heard of MGA’s Miniverse? It’s a toy brand centered around detailed miniature replicas of everyday items. Mini plants, mini candles, mini birdhouses, mini pretty much everything.

MGA Mini Foods are one of the brands most popular offerings. No, they’re not edible, but there are evidently a lot of people out there that want to create miniature versions of their favorite spreads. We covered a limited time “Elf” crossover from MGA around Christmas. Resellers were able to turn $10 into $100 from a single trip to Target.

Earlier this month, MGA dropped a mini version of the iconic Huy Fong Sriracha bottles exclusively through TikTok. Just like the real thing, these were hard to find and sold out fast. Only 500 in total were sold for $25 each. Since then they’ve picked up a ton of attention on social media.

Well, that’s one way to cope with the shortage. If you can’t have a bottle of sriracha in your fridge, might as well keep a (very small) one on your shelf.

In addition to the mini sriracha, these balls also contained a platter of wings, sauce brush, bowl, lime slices, and chives, along with a Huy Fong branded plastic container.

MGA Mini Sriracha Resells

As you can probably guess for such a limited product, these MGA Mini Food Sriracha bottles are in extreme demand among collectors. Some elected to host giveaways for theirs, other folks chose more profitable methods.

After they sold out, MGA Mini Sriracha toys have been reselling for upwards of $120. Some resellers have managed to get nearly $200 for theirs.

It’s a bit strange, sure, but who are we to tell people how to spend their money? Especially if they’re lining the pockets of hardworking resellers.

The hype around these Mini Sriracha toys has been so strong that several Etsy sellers have begun spinning up their own knock-offs. They don’t sell for nearly as much of course, but it’s an option for the truly desperate Miniverse collector to have their very own plate of hot wings.
