AMC is Giving Away Mandalorian and Grogu Trading Cards

Fantasy Flight Games is celebrating the film’s release with a pair of limited-edition promos tied to Star Wars: Unlimited, their trading card game. The pack contains two cards, both alternate art versions from the upcoming Ashes of the Empire set: a Grogu leader card and a Razor Crest unit card.

Since these are from an unreleased set, they will not be legal in Premier or Eternal format until Ashes of the Empire officially drops.

Outside the US, distribution is handled through separate events in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and the UK. For US collectors, AMC opening weekend is the only option.

Some of these packs have already reached the secondary market through European distribution events, with early sales coming in around $15 per card, or roughly $30 for the pair. After eBay’s 13% fee, that works out to about $26 net on a set. Not a flip that justifies buying a ticket you were not planning to purchase, but not nothing either.

The realistic read is that the cards function as a meaningful discount on your moviegoing experience. If you were already spending $20 on a ticket, walking out with $26 worth of trading cards is a fine outcome. Prices could also move higher if the film drives new interest in the game.

Check AMC’s website for participating locations and book for May 21 or May 22 if you have not already. The promo is available while supplies last, so earlier screenings on those two days are the safer bet. There is no indication these will be available after Friday.
