Kith is teasing their upcoming BMW collection with a pop-up
It lasts for one day only in Miami
Expect to see merch resell for well over retail
Kith has confirmed a third collaboration with BMW, and will be hosting a pop-up this Friday ahead of its release. Exclusive merch and new clothes will be available for a limited time, and this is a great opportunity for any reseller to make quick cash with minimal effort. If you’ll be in the Miami area this week, here’s your signal to seize the day.
You’ve probably heard it before, but there really is more to life than money – there’s also luxury cars and expensive clothes. If you’re in a hurry to flaunt your wealth, why not combine the two? Kith’s recent collaborations with BMW are one way to do it.
The brands first linked together in 2020, producing an exclusive line of clothing and Kith-marked BMW M4s. It was extremely successful, spawning additional collaborations in 2022 and now 2024.
Kith X BMW Project III is set to debut this year, and they are teasing the collab with a limited edition pop-up in Miami for one day only. Expect to see an entirely new lineup of clothes, accessories, and the latest Kith BMW vehicles.
The Kith BMW pop-up will open at 10 AM this Friday in Miami. The exact address is 1111 Lincoln Road, 7th Floor, Miami Beach. Doors will be open until 5PM, and this will be collectors’ only chance to snag the items they want before the full collection goes live.
Kith has confirmed that a rebuilt 1981 BMW M1 E26 will be featured at Friday’s pop-up. The car is finished in distinct “Techno Purple” paint, with subtle Kith badging on the exterior and unique Kith monogramming for the interior.
Previous Kith BMW vehicles have become holy grails for collectors of both brands. Considering “standard” E26s usually trade hands for around $500k, we’re guessing this one will be quite valuable.
We’re also expecting that BMW will announce a Kith-remixed version of one of a modern car, probably in the 100 to 200 production range. That’s how 2022’s Project II was released, and it seems likely they’ll go back to a winning formula.
So, is it worth it? If you live in Miami or you’ll be visiting this week, we certainly hope so. Kith’s collaborations with BMW have been enormously popular with fans of both brands, and we’re expecting this project to be just as profitable.
Clothes from the previous Kith X BMW collaboration have flipped for hundreds of dollars over their retail prices. Bombers and wool jackets have been some of the most popular items, but diecast cars, hoodies, and even sweatpants have been quite profitable.
If you decide to attend Friday’s pop-up, expect to spend some money. Look for the most popular and likely most expensive items from the collection, as these will not last long.
