Final Fantasy 7 Revelation Collector's Edition Preorders are Open

Final Fantasy 7: Revelations is the third and final part of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and it’s set to launch next year. Like other parts of the remake, FF7: Revelations is getting a Collector’s Edition.

For $350, you get the Deluxe Edition of the game (physical copy, SteelBook, artbook, mini soundtrack, and the MTG promo card) bundled with the Cloud, Zack, and Sephiroth statue, plus a handful of in-game bonus items.

Preorders are live now on Square Enix’s store for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2, all priced at $350 for the Collector’s Edition. PS5 units are already sold out, so Xbox and Switch 2 are your remaining windows at retail. The game ships April 8, 2027, and preorders can be canceled any time before then if bought direct through the webstore.

This isn’t Square Enix’s first rodeo with a $350 collector’s edition built around a big statue. FINAL FANTASY VII Rebirth ran the same playbook in 2024 with its Sephiroth statue bundle, and those units are still moving on eBay for prices in the $450 to $650 range depending on condition and seller.

If Revelation follows a similar curve, that $350 buy-in has room to work once the PS5 shortage pushes demand toward the platforms still in stock.

Square Enix is also running a Switch 2 exclusive bundle through its Japanese e-store that goes well beyond the US collector’s edition. That set folds in physical copies of Remake and Rebirth, a display stand, extra SteelBooks, and a keychain for 77,777 yen, or roughly $500, capped at one per customer. Whether that content wins out with collectors over the simpler US version is worth watching, since it could split demand between the two markets.

Ordering the Japanese bundle and reshipping it isn’t free. Add international shipping, customs, and eBay’s fees, and resellers will likely need $650 or more just to break even. The $350 domestic edition carries far less downside since Square Enix backs it with a 14 day return window after delivery, plus the option to cancel before it ships. That makes the US version the safer play, even if the Japanese set has more collector appeal on paper.
