Dyson's CameraJet Toothbrush is Reselling for Up to $1,500

Dyson’s CameraJet launched September 1 in two colorways, Ceramic Pink and Ceramic Ultra Blue, as part of a full “Dyson Dental System” that also includes a charging dock, travel case, toothpaste, and mouthrinse.

The pitch is that it replaces three separate steps, brushing, flossing, and rinsing, with one motion. A 100k pixel camera under the brush head uses Dyson’s Gap Optical Targeting system to spot interdental gaps and fire a conical jet of mouthrinse to flush them out while you brush.

It’s a different design than anything else on the market, and reviewers and early buyers responded fast. Dyson’s own site and multiple retailers are now showing the toothbrush as out of stock, with Dyson offering an email notification signup instead of a buy button.

eBay listings show asks climbing well above retail, with sales coming in as as high as $1,500. This is a brand new product category for Dyson rather than an established collectible, and sales are closer to a trickle than a flood.

The handful of confirmed sales are commanding serious money, but this isn’t a market where you should expect to flip multiple units quickly.

Dyson products tend to sell out at launch almost as a matter of habit, and a $499 toothbrush with a camera and AI built in is a strong enough novelty to draw attention beyond Dyson’s usual customer base. Limited early supply plus genuine curiosity is a classic setup for a resale premium.

We expect Dyson to restock the CameraJet toothbrush soon, and given what we now know about demand, it will probably sell out again just as quickly. Resellers who want in should sign up for restock alerts directly through Dyson’s site rather than relying on third-party retailers to get inventory first.

If you do buy to flip, keep the box sealed. Dyson’s return policy only covers products with an intact hygiene seal, meaning once you open it, you own it. That makes an unsold unit low risk since you can return it for a full refund within 30 days if it doesn’t move. And let’s be real here: no one wants to buy a used toothbrush.
