2026 D23 Merch Resells for Major Profits

If you’re new to this, D23 is Disney’s official fan convention, and it’s the only place to get certain toys, figures, and collectibles before they either hit general release or never get made again. Tickets sell out fast, which means most of the country never has a shot at buying in person. That gap is exactly why the resale market for D23 exclusives has been so strong for years.

We’ve covered this before. The original Disney Lorcana D23 set flipped for thousands within months of release, and last year’s D23 Star Wars lightsaber sets hit $3,000 on a $550 retail price. This year’s lineup looks like it’s following the same pattern.

Disney’s official webstore updated with a ton of items previously exclusive to D23 2026 yesterday morning. Resellers were quick to jump on the opportunity, and we’ve highlighted three items to illustrate just how lucrative this kind of flipping can be.

First, The José Animatronic Figure from Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room. These miniature parrot animatronics retailed for $250, and were one of the first items to sell out. Within just a few minutes, they had begun reselling for $500+ with outlier sales ranging up to nearly $1,000.

Second, the Arresting the Chancellor Legacy Lightsaber Hilt Set, a four-hilt box set featuring Mace Windu, Agen Kolar, Kit Fisto, and Saesee Tiin. Disney capped this one at 1,500 units worldwide, and it retailed for $550.

This was a slightly riskier item because of the high price, but we’ve seen decorative collectible lightsaber hilts resell in the past. Within a few hours, resellers were flipping these for over $1,000.

On the other end of the buy-in scale is the Pixar Lamp with Motion and Sounds, a Luxo Jr. replica released for Pixar’s 40th anniversary. At $100 retail, it’s an easy entry point, and we’re seeing tons of sales in the $150 to $200 range. This one made for a low risk, low effort flip.

None of these are getting restocked. Disney only sells D23 exclusives for a short online window after the convention, and once inventory is gone, it’s gone for good. That kind of hard scarcity, combined with built-in fan bases for Star Wars, Pixar, and classic Disney parks attractions, is what keeps these items moving well above retail.
