In the United States the collectors edition was exclusively released via GameStop, with pre-orders going live just 1 hour after the showcase concluded. Xbox, PS4, and PS5 versions were available.

After sitting in stock for just under one day, the item listing page was pulled from GameStop.com, denoting that preorders had sold out.

Though sold out online quickly, customers were still able to preorder in person at their local GameStop stores up to 4+ days after the release. A $5 refundable deposit was required with this purchase method.

In the month following preorders selling out, it became apparent that restocks were unlikely. Series fans hoping to complete their statue collections (previous games in the series typically had collector’s editions with statues) that had missed out had no choice but to turn to eBay to secure a copy before launch.
