Old Forester announced that a new “lottery” system would be used for this release, allowing customers nationwide to enter the raffle, with winners being allowed to purchase the $149.99 bottle in-person at the Old Forester Distillery in Louisville, KY.

Old Forester opened the sweepstakes via their website on August 24th, allowing entries until the 31st.

On September 2nd, 500 winners were selected and notified from the raffle pool. Those selected would now be able to each purchase 1 bottle in-person at the Louisville, Kentucky distillery between the dates of September 8, 2022 and December 23, 2022.
