At 9 AM PST, boxes went live for purchase on MTG’s web store. There was a digital queue-based system for purchase initially, but after 10 minutes there was no wait time to access the sale. There was a limit of 5 boxes per order.
Sold Out
Sold Out? Who knows.
After 39 minutes, the product appeared to be sold out. Notably, MTG’s Twitter account said the sale had “concluded”, rather than say the product was sold out, leading many in the community to speculate that they had pulled the sale to save face from poor sales. However, this has never been confirmed.
