Announcement

On January 13th, James Jean took to Instagram to announce the pin set’s upcoming January 17th release. He had released a similar set the past year prior to celebrate the Year of the Dragon, which was limited to 1,400, making this follow up almost three times as rare.

Release

At 8 AM PST, the sets went live for sale with a purchase limit of 1 per person.

Sold Out

Pins were completely sold out in under two minutes. If a buyer had their billing information ready at release time, they were likely successful in purchasing.

Resell

As soon as the day of release, confirmed orders of pin sets began to sell on eBay for at and around the $90 to $100 mark.
