Official Obsession Halloween Costumes Go Up for Preorder

Both sets are up for preorder now on the NBCUniversal Shop in sizes small through XXL. The Nikki Costume Set recreates her final look from the film with a dark purple off-the-shoulder floral dress, a sheet of temporary tattoos, and a foam brick printed with “i love you so so so so so much.” If you’ve seen the movie, you know why the brick matters.

The Bear Costume Set comes with his Southwestern striped sweater, plaid lounge pants, and an oversized wooden block from the infamous game night scene. Both sets also include a One Wish Willow, which NBC describes as an exclusive, limited-edition novelty prop in retro packaging.

The film has had a long runway to build this kind of demand. Obsession premiered at TIFF in 2025 before Focus Features put it in theaters this May, and Nikki has been roaming Universal Studios Hollywood as part of Halloween Horror Nights. Navarrette is also scheduled to host Saturday Night Live on October 31, which lands right on Halloween.

Every year, we see a handful of Halloween costumes go mega-viral and sell out from retailers. Because these are produced in limited numbers with a strict deadline, restocks before the holiday are rare, so resellers can easily corner the market on viral costumes.

And if you consider that fans have been predicting that Nikki would be the most popular Halloween costume of 2026 since May, well, you can see how an official design direct from NBC might not stay in stock for too much longer.

Nikki is the one to focus on. She’s the character people want to be, and the set doubles as half of an obvious couples costume. Bear sizes are already thinning out, which tells us there’s real interest, but we’d expect most Bear buyers to be people who are also buying a Nikki.

These are final sale. Preorders can’t be canceled and nothing can be returned, so unlike Spirit’s costumes, you can’t take a brick back to the store if the market never shows up. We also don’t know how many sets NBC produced or how long preorders will stay open. If NBC keeps restocking through October, prices will struggle to climb.

If you’re confident in Nikki’s popularity, a couple of sets is a reasonable bet. Just don’t order more than you’re willing to wear, gift, or sell at a loss.
