Elden Ring Messmer sukajan jackets are available for $200
1,400 will be made and shipped in September
Previous Elden Ring sukajan jackets flipped for $300 to $700
If you’re a gamer looking for new threads or just a little extra cash in your wallet, we’ve got something worth looking at. Bandai Namco is stocking a limited line of sukajan jackets based on the popular Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring. These follow up a similarly limited design from last year that sold out and resold for decent profits. Let’s take a closer look.
It’s a fact: gamers aren’t exactly known for their impeccable fashion. It might be time to upgrade from the cargo shorts and mysteriously-stained Triforce tee to something truly striking.
Bandai Namco is selling sukajan-style polyester jackets based on the character Messmer the Impaler from Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. These are limited to just 1,400 units, with each jacket shipping with a premium collector’s box and numbered certificate of authenticity.
Elden Ring Messmer sukajan jackets are available right now for $200 from Bandai Namco’s webstore. These are a preorder item expected to ship in September, so you have some time to decide. That said, we’re expecting to see the XXL sell out first so maybe hop on that while you have the chance.
These are very similar to a previous Elden Ring Maliketh sukajan jacket Bandai Namco released last year. They sold for the same price of $200, but were limited to 500 units.
Elden Ring Maliketh jackets were very popular, and sold out quickly after being listed for preorder. It’s unclear if these Messmer sukajans will be as successful, but the significant increase in stock would indicate Bandai Namco is confident in the product.
But what about resellers? After all, we’re not actually interested in wearing these jackets, just flipping them.
What we can say is that there is a market for Elden Ring sukajan jackets. The Maliketh designs were quite popular, and the tight quantity limit meant that there were a lot of fans that missed out. We’ve seen Elden Ring Maliketh sukajan jackets resell for around $300, with outlier sales for up to $800.
Volume is pretty limited, but that’s to be expected with a niche item produced in such low numbers. It’s hard to say if these Messmer sukajan jackets will be as popular, or profitable, especially when considering the boosted production.
As far as we can tell, these jackets are covered under Bandai Namco’s refund and return policy. You’ll be able to cancel your order before it ships for a full refund. If the item fails to resell, you can simply pull the plug on your order and avoid any risk.
DYOR of course, but keep these jackets in mind if you’re looking for your next flip. As always, make sure you subscribe to our newsletter to learn about reselling and catch the latest flips before they pass you by.
