Just before the new year, Dove linked up with Crumbl Cookies for an unforgettable (and un-asked-for) collection. Deodorant, body wash, hand soap, and a scrub, all replete with that sweet synth-sugar smell fresh from a Crumbl bakery. Of course, resellers were well aware of this collection. These soaps are so popular that they’ve started to resell, and the profits are not bad at all. Let’s get into it.

Crumbl Cookies X Dove Collaboration

Alright, we’ve got a weird but lucrative one today. Are you familiar with Crumbl Cookies? Founded in Utah, Crumbl specializes in baked goods that are completely disastrous for your blood sugar levels.

If your religion keeps you away from all the fun stuff like drugs (even caffeine), gambling, and premarital sex, a sugar high is about as good as you’re going to get. In any case, Crumbl was a massive success on its home turf, and has since expanded beyond Utah.

And they snagged a somewhat surprising collaboration with Dove for a line of hygiene and body care products. If you’ve dreamed of smelling like frosting and rubbing pure sugar into your skin, pay attention.

The Dove X Crumbl collaboration consists of four products: Dove Crumbl body wash and body scrub, a Dove Crumbl deodorant stick, and Dove Crumbl hand wash.

All of these products are available in three different ~~flavors~~ scents: Confetti Cake, Lemon Glaze, and Strawberry Crumb Cake.

The Dove Crumbl hand wash is available for $4, while the Dove Crumbl body wash, body scrub, and deodorant all retail for $7. You can also buy a three-piece set in matching scents for $20, which omits the hand soap.

It’s worth noting that the Dove X Crumbl collection is exclusive to Walmart. You can buy these in-stores or online, depending on stock. The collection is labeled as “limited edition”, but no further detail is offered. Still, better to buy now…

… Because these soaps and scrubs are flying off shelves and on to eBay. We’ve been keeping our eyes on this drop, and we have not been disappointed.

Right now, products from the Dove X Crumbl collaboration are reselling for two to four times their retail prices. Individual items are flipping for upwards of $15 at a time, while the body care sets are going for around $60, three times what they retailed for.

Let’s not look a gift horse in its rotten, cavity-infested mouth. It doesn’t matter that there are apparently scores of people out there that want to smell like corporate recipe sugar cookies; what matters is what they’re willing to pay a reseller to make that happen.
